http://www.jon-olsson.com, the Swiff-developed videoblog was voted ‘best website – athlete’ by the influential American magazine ‘Freeskier’ in their first annual poll. The industry votes put Jon-olsson.com in #2 place and the public votes voted him #1.
In other news, the website was today mentioned on Resumé, Sweden’s equivalent to UK’s New Media Age, a website with daily news about new Media, Internet, Marketing, Advertising, Direct Marketing, Interactive Marketing and other Technology News.
As mentioned in the Resumé article, shortly after we implemented tracking with Google Analytics on the site, we’ve recorded 80,000 unique views daily and most of these visitors return on multiple occasions daily to follow up discussions and comment on every post and antics by their favorite athlete.
These two public mentions are great “pat-on-the-back” to us here at Swiff, especially as the site is only in its first development phase. There’s certainly more to come, so watch this space!
